Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician to service customer sites across North America. This second-shift role focuses on inspections, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on dry van, flatbed, and utility trailers.

You will travel to customer locations, perform on-site repairs, and maintain safety standards while delivering high-quality service. We offer a competitive pay structure with a $3,000 sign-on bonus, retention bonuses, quarterly

Qualifications

Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair.
Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment.
Strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs.
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
Repair and replace trailer components including brakes, suspension, electrical wiring, floors, doors, frames.
Welding and fabrication work as required.
Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle.
Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
