Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is a fast-growing leader in the trucking industry with over 31 years of experience, nearly 400 employees, and operations across 15+ states. We are expanding in the Dallas, TX area and are looking for a skilled Mobile Trailer Mechanic to join our team.

As a Mobile Trailer Mechanic, you will travel to customer sites in a mobile service truck to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on tractor-trailer equipment, keeping fleets on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair truck and trailer systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements.
• Operate and maintain a mobile service truck.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate service and repair documentation.
• Weekend and on-call availability as needed.
