Job summary

Dallas Trailer Repair Co. is seeking a Mobile Semi Trailer Repair Tech to service trailers and related equipment in the Houston, TX area. You will perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs, using mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment.

Strong attention to detail and communication are essential as you may work independently or with a team. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of mechanical experience, own tools, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mechanical or equivalent experience.
• ASE certifications highly desired but not required.
• Must pass pre-employment knowledge/skill test, background check, and drug/medical exam.
• Must have own tools and safety gear (steel-toed shoes, welding protection).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose trailers for mechanical issues and faulty parts.
• Perform repairs according to industry standards and manufacturer specs.
• Perform routine maintenance on trailers and equipment.
• Document repairs and action plans in the software system.
• Operate a mobile repair vehicle if hiring for Mobile Technician.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe workspace.
• Collaborate with coworkers and support team goals.
