Job summary

SNS Transportation Services Inc. in Greenville, NC is seeking a Mobile Mechanic (Trailer Repair) to maintain trailer and yard equipment for a major package delivery company.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing trailers, switchers, and converter dollies, with state and federal inspections required. The position offers a stable, day shift schedule (Mon-Fri), competitive wages, and benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K with company match, paid vacation and holidays,

Qualifications

Qualified Mechanic with 1–3 years experience, able to diagnose and repair switchers, trailers and converter dollies.
Must be able to perform state and federal inspections.
Trailer experience and diesel knowledge preferred, organized and responsible.

Responsibilities

Perform FAI and State required inspections.
Inspect and repair air brake systems.
Diagnose and repair anti-lock braking systems.
Repair commercial trailers and converter dollies in all aspects.
Familiar with Cummins Insight.
Handle diverse diagnostic tasks.
Assist with roll-up door and minor body work.
AC experience is a plus.
Update reports using Word/Excel.
