Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Shift Type: Full-Time

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred
• Skilled welding in steel and aluminum
• Must possess a toolbox and required tools
• 3-5 Years of experience as a technician with trailer repairs and inspections preferred
  
  

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid unrestricted driver’s license & DOT Medical Card required
• Certification in brake repair & ASE certification (or commitment to obtain within 12 months)
  
  

Skills

• Strong communication skills for customer and team interactions
• Proficient with diagnostic software and standard tools (multi-meter, air tools)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions and outdoors year-round
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  
  

Job Summary

️ What You’ll Do as a Mobile Technician

The Mobile Technician will perform general trailer maintenance, inspections, and repairs, focusing on transport refrigeration and trailer systems. This role requires operating a service truck, conducting FHWA trailer inspections, performing preventative maintenance (PM), and addressing repairs including ABS brake systems, air systems, tires, body, structural, electrical, and rear doors. The technician will manage mobile inventory, maintain truck cleanliness, and ensure paperwork and reports are completed timely.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain company service truck and equipment
• Conduct FHWA trailer inspections and general trailer PMs
• Repair trailer ABS brake and air systems
• Replace tires and perform structural, body, rear door, and electrical repairs
• Manage mobile truck inventory and maintain cleanliness
• Meet repair time standards and complete documentation promptly
• Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
• Comply with all safety standards and regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned
