Job summary
Your Health is seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across home-based, facility-based, and outpatient settings in the Macon area.
This full-time, salary-based role offers a monthly bonus opportunity and a vehicle allowance, with shifts such as 8-hour days, Monday–Friday, and active collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active state license and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP).
- 1–2 years of experience in adult or geriatric therapy preferred.
- Experience with neurological and cognitive impairments is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across assigned regions as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform re-evaluations and modify treatment approaches as appropriate.
- Monitor and document patient progress toward goals.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, occupational and physical therapists, care coordinators.
