Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical in Macon, GA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time role to diagnose and treat communication disorders and dysphagia. You will develop plans and supervise rehab staff, with some weekend shifts possible.

Requirements include a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-ASHA, Georgia licensure, and BCLS; experience across ages from neonates to elders is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders is required.
• CCC - ASHA Certification is required.
• Georgia licensure for Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• BCLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate consultations and diagnostic evaluations for patients with known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia.
• Plan and perform speech-language pathology treatment interventions to restore function and prevent disability.
• Provide patient care to all ages (neonates to geriatrics) and supervise rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers.
