Job summary

MobilexUSA is seeking an ultrasound technologist to provide mobile imaging services across nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing sites. You will travel by car to assigned regions, perform exams, and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program, valid license, and strong interpersonal skills. Expect a competitive hourly wage and a travel‑driven schedule with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
• Maintain required certification and registries; provide copies when requested.
• Valid driver's license; travel to multiple facilities; provide licenses/certifications on demand.
• Complete drug screening and background check as part of employment process.
• Adhere to professional conduct and company policies at all times.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch or call in to obtain case load information.
• Arrive at first case at shift start; plan travel 30 minutes prior.
• Unload and position portable ultrasound equipment; obtain clinically diagnostic images.
• Perform ultrasounds and transmit images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Verify patient identity with two identifiers and match orders to exams.
• Communicate with dispatch, center staff, and clients professionally.
• Maintain vehicle and ultrasound equipment; keep records updated daily.
• Attend required meetings and follow orientation and safety procedures.
