Job summary

TridentCare seeks a mobile ultrasound technologist to deliver portable ultrasound services across nursing homes, home-care facilities, prisons, and processing sites within service regions. You will travel by car, perform physician-ordered exams, and ensure image quality for radiologist interpretation.

The role runs Saturday to Monday, 8:00a-8:00p, with a pay range of $40-$46 per hour. You must identify patients accurately, follow safety policies, and maintain professional standards while working

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
• Maintain required certification and registries, health requirements, and operational requirements.
• Sonographer should carry credentials at all times and provide copies when requested.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel.

Responsibilities

• Login for self-dispatching or call dispatch to obtain case load information.
• Arrive at first case at shift start and depart from home 30 minutes prior.
• Unload portable equipment and perform exams ordered by physician with clinically diagnostic images.
• Perform ultrasounds with portable equipment and send images digitally to Radiologist.
• Check voicemail at facilities every 30 minutes or as needed.
• Check for cases via self-dispatch or check in with dispatcher every 30 minutes.
• Wear uniform and company name tag, follow dress code; use company phone.
• Verify patient identity with two identifiers before exams.
• Do not perform transfers; rely on facility staff for patient movement.
• Scan paperwork and billing daily per protocol; communicate professionally with staff.
