Job summary

huMannity Medtec in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking a Software Engineer to support development of active implantable medical devices. You will work across concept, design, qualification, release and maintenance, collaborating with hardware, firmware, quality, regulatory and clinical teams to deliver high-quality software in a regulated environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/CE or related field, 4+ years of experience, and mobile app development on Android and/or iOS with C#.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience supporting products through concept, development, production, and maintenance phases.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting active implantable medical device systems.
• Participate in all phases of software development from requirements, design, implementation, verification, release, and maintenance.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern software development practices.
• Contribute to software architecture and implementation decisions.
• Enhance engineering efficiency through tools, utilities, and improved workflows.
• Support software integration activities with hardware and firmware systems.
