Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a driven CDL driver to operate a 45-foot Shoemobile, visiting industrial sites on pre-scheduled appointments. You will fit customers for footwear, service safety shoe programs, and manage inventory while ensuring safe DOT-compliant transport.

Responsibilities include processing orders and returns, maintaining the mobile showroom, and collaborating with branches to stock products. Must be self-motivated with strong sales and customer-service orientation to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL license is required.
• Must pass a physical and maintain a current medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Overnight travel 2–3 nights per week.
• Comfort standing for long periods and frequent bending.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Shoemobile to industrial customer sites on pre-scheduled appointments.
• Provide exceptional sales and customer service to company employees.
• Assist customers with selecting and properly fitting footwear.
• Maintain truck stock and inventory levels.
• Process orders, returns, and exchanges on the Shoemobile.
• Comply with DOT regulations and operate the Shoemobile safely.
• Accurately maintain a DOT logbook.
• Partner with Branch/DC for restocking and replenishment.
• Grow sales and manage costs.
