Job summary

Grainger in the United States is seeking a driven Salesperson to operate a mobile shoe store (Shoemobile) at industrial customer sites. You will provide exceptional sales and customer service, fitting footwear, and ensuring efficient operations to grow sales and control costs.

The role requires a Class A CDL, DOT compliance, and frequent overnight travel; you will work with branches, DCs, and leasing partners to restock, manage inventory, and maintain a clean showroom environment.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL license required.
• DOT regulations knowledge helpful.
• Overnight travel 2–3 nights per week on average.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with selecting footwear and proper fitting.
• Maintain truck stock and inventory levels.
• Process all customer orders, returns, and exchanges while on Shoemobile.
• Comply with DOT regulations for safe operation of the Shoemobile.
• Maintain a DOT logbook per regulations.
• Partner with Branch/DC for restocking.
• Coordinate with Truck Leasing for parking, fueling, maintenance.
• Keep warehouse and showroom clean and organized.
