Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Salesperson to operate the Shoemobile—Facebook 45' tractor-trailer with a Class A CDL—for industrial customer sites within a ~150 mile radius. The role centers on delivering exceptional sales and customer service to company employees, with no cold calling, while managing orders and staying DOT compliant.

The successful candidate will be sales-minded, customer-service oriented, and highly self-motivated, with the ability to travel overnight as needed and to maintain a clean,

Qualifications

• Class A CDL license required.
• Ability to navigate and update systems and tools.
• Willingness to travel overnight 2–3 nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist customer with selecting footwear and properly fitting with shoes/boots.
• Maintain truck stock and inventory levels.
• Process all customer orders, returns, and exchanges while on the Shoemobile.
• Comply with all DOT regulations regarding operating the Shoemobile safely.
• Accurately maintain a DOT logbook in compliance with regulations.
• Partner with Branch/DC for restocking/replenishment.
• Partner with Truck Leasing for remote parking, fueling, and maintenance.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and Shoemobile showroom.
