Invincible Boat Company is seeking a Mobile Service Technician, Team Lead to oversee field-based service and warranty work on high-performance fishing yachts. Position Overview :
The Mobile Service Technician, Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and executing field-based service and warranty work on Invincible boats. This hands-on role combines technical expertise with leadership, customer communication, and logistical coordination. The ideal candidate is highly skilled across all trades, dependable, and passionate about delivering best-in-class customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough inspections of boats to identify issues covered under warranty, including defects in the hull, fittings, electrical systems, and other components.
Perform repairs on warranty claims, including but not limited to :
Lamination Issues : Address lamination issues, surface imperfections, and / or structural integrity problems by re-laminating areas as necessary.
Facilitate the management of warranty claims process, from initial assessment to completion of repairs, including :
Gathering and documenting all necessary information for warranty claims.
Communicate with customers regarding the status of warranty claims and repairs, providing clear updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and departments to ensure timely resolution of warranty issues and effective communication of repair processes.
Maintain detailed records of all service work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts replaced.
Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in warranty service and boat manufacturing.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing repairs and service work.
Provide feedback to engineering and production teams on recurring issues or field improvements.
