Job summary

FleetPride in Louisville, KY is seeking a Mobile Service Technician III for a full-time role. You will master preventative maintenance on all vehicle systems, perform major repairs, and train other technicians. The position requires in-shop work between service calls and may include after-hour on-call rotation.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience with class 7/8 trucks, a valid CDL, and welding/diagnostics skills. A Diesel Technology certificate is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diesel technology certification or degree is a plus.
• Air brake certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with the best in the heavy-duty industry and apply today!**GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION** The Mobile Technician III is expected to have mastered all aspects of Preventative Maintenance on all vehicle systems with the ability to train and develop other Technicians. Will perform all major and advanced adjustments, repairs, and component replacements. Perform advanced diagnostic operations in order to successfully diagnose vehicle system failures and suggest accurate system repairs. This technician will also work in the shop between service calls.
