Job summary

United Site Services, Inc. is seeking a Utility Technician to operate various service trucks and support portable restroom servicing on sites throughout the Salinas area. The role requires driving, route coordination and customer service with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, delivering and picking up equipment, and leading fence jobs when assigned. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
• Operate service, flat bed, fence and tanker trucks to designated work sites per routing.
• Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, showers as per guidelines.
• Notify management of issues on routes and maintain dispatch communication.
• Maintain truck logs per state and federal regulations.
• Lead on fence jobs and operate fence installation equipment when assigned.
• Complete required paperwork for tanker/transfer operations.
• Carry out special projects as assigned by management.
