Join to apply for the Mobile Service Technician / Detailer role at Hyundai of Cumming.

Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $30.00/hr

We are looking for qualified, professional individuals capable of performing light maintenance and vehicle detailing/washing. This new role involves utilizing two outfitted mobile service vehicles that will visit customers' locations to provide these services.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, including waxing, leather conditioning, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets.
• Perform basic lube services such as oil & filter changes, fluid top-offs, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections following manufacturer and dealer guidelines.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing questions, explaining services, and recommending additional maintenance or detailing options.

Additional Responsibilities

• Drive mobile service vehicle to customer locations for service delivery
• Perform express lube services at customer sites using provided tools
• Wash and detail vehicles on-site
• Test vehicle systems and components for proper operation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels, ensure tire pressure, and lubricate fittings
• Install oil drain plugs and filters, and communicate oil levels to team members
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in vehicle repairs
• Preemptively repair or replace worn parts
• Use power and hand tools for various tasks

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and diagnostic skills
• Effective analytical and communication skills, with a willingness to learn
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures
• Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• ASE Certification or technical degree (preferred)
• At least one year of experience in a service department
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
