Job summary

Dahl Ford in Onalaska, WI is hiring a Mobile Service Technician. You will perform recalls and light-duty service at off-site locations with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekends off. Compensation ranges from $22 to $27 per hour based on experience; ASE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, test-driving, and estimating repair times. Requires valid driver's license and strong customer-service focus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive technician.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Positive, friendly attitude with customer service mentality.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
