Job summary

Dahl Ford Truck La Crosse in La Crosse, WI is seeking an Experienced Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, with a Ford-focused workload.

You will work with a collaborative team, use diagnostic tools, and communicate clearly with customers and the Service Advisor to ensure timely, accurate service and warranty-compliant repairs. We offer growth opportunities in a long-standing dealership.

Join Team Dahl as an Experienced Technician at Dahl Ford Truck La Crosse in La Crosse, WI! In this position, you will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of different makes and models of heavy‑duty vehicles. This position's primary focus will be Ford vehicles; however, all heavy‑duty brands are worked on at this location.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well‑informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
