Job summary

Lufkin Ford seeks a Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team. The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and be ASE certified, traveling to customer workplaces and homes to perform basic service needs and recalls.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Valid driver's license.
• ASE/Manufacturer certifications - Ford certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
• Service Technician Experience Preferred.
• Strong use of technological devices including tablets.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Engage with many different customers each day and represent the dealership.
• Organize and prepare for the day's appointments.
• Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order in a clean and efficient manner.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication.
• Accurately document vehicle repairs/work performed on the repair order.
• Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training.
• Able to work occasionally in challenging weather conditions.
• Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly.
