Job summary

Nextran Truck Centers in the greater Atlanta area is seeking a reliable Mobile Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair medium to heavy‑duty trucks at client sites across Duluth, Atlanta South, and Kennesaw. You will travel to customer and site locations, solving mechanical and electrical issues with professionalism.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on repair experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds while working outdoors

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on mechanical, electrical, or field service repair experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record per company rules.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather across Atlanta.
• Background check, post-offer drug screen, and job-related physical required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at client or roadside locations in Metro Atlanta.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine checkups to prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies in the company vehicle.
• Follow safety rules and complete pre-trip vehicle inspections.

We are looking for a reliable skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team at Nextran Truck Centers team in the greater Atlanta area. As a valued member of our team, you will travel to customer and site locations to diagnose, maintain, and repair Medium - Heavy Duty Trucks and equipment. This role requires strong mechanical know-how, independent problem-solving, and commitment to great customer service.

What We Offer

• Pay Rate: Competitive hourly pay ($35 - $50/hr., DOE)
• Company provided mobile service vehicle and specialized tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and Repair: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, machinery, equipment, or machinery directly at client or roadside locations in Metro Atlanta.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine checkups, visual inspections, and scheduled maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
• Parts Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies in your assigned company vehicle.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety rules, complete pre-trip vehicle inspections, and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3 - 5 years of hands on mechanical, electrical, or field service repair experience.
• Driver's License: Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record that meets company insurance rules
• Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work outdoors or in varying weather and traffic conditions across Atlanta.
• Screenings: Must successfully complete a standard background check, post-offer drug screen, and job related physical.
