Job summary

FleetPride, Inc. in Corning, NY is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to service heavy-duty trucks and trailers at customer sites. You will diagnose, repair and maintain equipment, often at the lot or on-site, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel repair experience on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Own tools and toolbox.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Strong communication with service managers, writers and customers.
• Commitment to safe, efficient, high-quality work.
• CDL preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Primarily perform lot work and repairs outside the shop during regular business hours.
• Provide mobile diesel repairs at customer sites using FleetPride tools and process.
• Maintain a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.

Position Details:

• Pay up to $32/hour, plus monthly productivity bonuses.
• Brand-new company service truck.
• Primarily perform lot work and repairs outside the shop during regular business hours.
• Company truck stays at the shop when you are not on call; you may take it home when on call.
• Required 24-hour on-call shift every Saturday.

What We’re Looking For:

• Preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Air systems, brakes, and wheel ends.
• Electrical diagnostics and starting systems.
• Cooling systems and basic A/C diagnostics and repairs.
• Steering, alignment, and drivetrain repairs.
• Differential removal and replacement.
• Aftertreatment systems.
• General trailer repairs.
