Job summary

Caldwell Country Chevy II LLC is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to service customers' vehicles on-site at their location. The role focuses on oil changes, fluid top-offs, battery and wiper replacements, and performing recalls as needed.

You will travel in a company vehicle to customer sites, prepare detailed service reports, and keep interiors clean while maintaining safety and time management. Excellent communication with customers is essential.

Mobile Service TechnicianJob Description:We are looking to hire a highly skilled lube technician to maintain and service customers' vehicles. The mobile service technician’s responsibilities include driving to the customer in a company provided vehicle preparing detailed vehicle service reports, replacing vehicle wiper blades and car batteries, and changing motor oil as well as performing some manufacture recalls. You should also be able to keep vehicle interiors clean while performing maintenance and servicing tasks.To be successful as a Mobile Service technician, you should have strong mechanical skills and adhere to all safety procedures and practices. Ultimately, an outstanding Mobile Service technician should be able to communicate effectively with customers and demonstrate excellent time management skills.Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specificationsTopping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluidInspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issuesChecking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specificationsInstalling new car parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and batteriesLubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicingDiagnosing existing issues and consulting with lead mechanics on the team to address the vehicles’ issuesCreating detailed service reports for customersJob Qualifications:An aptitude for mechanical diagnosis and repairDemonstrated experience with servicing vehiclesA valid driver's license and the ability to work legally in the USPassing a drug screening and criminal background checkTime management and organizational skills as well as hand-eye coordinationEffective communication and customer service skillsThe ability to read and follow complex directions in manuals as well as relay information in reportsThe physical ability to perform all tasks related to the position of Lube Technician, such as bending and reaching, standing for long periods of time and lifting over 60 poundsMust maintain 100% of all factory required training, including being 100% compliant within the first 30 days of hire
