Job summary

Lift, Inc. is hiring numerous experienced repair and maintenance technicians to join our Reading, PA team as full-time Mobile Service Techs and fix any problems with our customers' lift equipment. You'll work from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with some weekends and evenings as needed.

You'll travel in a company service van to customers' sites and parts pickup locations, performing exceptional repairs on lift equipment and submitting reports as required. Lift, Inc.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school degree (or equivalent) or a technical degree in a trade like automotive.
• 3+ years of related mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl throughout the shift with minimal opportunities to sit.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move 100+ pounds.
• Ability to work in wet, humid, cold, and hot conditions.

Responsibilities

• Performing customer-approved repairs and planned maintenance on lift equipment.
• Maintaining your work vehicle and parts inventory.
• Servicing equipment according to the customer's concerns and your own observations.
• Testing equipment to check repairs.
• Preparing and submitting inventory reports and work service reports.
• Following the PM checklist, checking safety decals, and ensuring the availability of safety and operational manuals.
• Assisting with other functions as needed.
