Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Hempstead, TX. You will provide responsive customer service, conduct routine patrols at a utilities location, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and your ability to follow site procedures during incidents and emergencies. The position is full-time with day shifts and pays $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of utility operations areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor/delivery authorization.
• Respond to incidents and alarms; notify leadership and document actions.
• Complete patrol and incident reports and communicate observations to site leadership.
