Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver Patrol Service in Pomona, CA. This full-time role requires patrolling retail locations, maintaining a visible presence, and providing excellent customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required, and the position includes shifts during multiple daytime and evening hours. You will conduct patrols, monitor entrances and parking areas, respond calmly to incidents, and support access control and crowd management during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support a welcoming environment.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, delivery monitoring, and crowd management during busy shopping periods, promotions, and special events.
