Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver in Ontario, CA to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sectors. You will patrol, maintain a visible presence, assist customers, and follow site procedures while delivering high-quality service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, delivery of excellent customer service, and the ability to work a daytime/evening schedule. CPR/First Aid and guards licensing are preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Document observations, patrols, incidents, and daily activities in required reports.
