Job summary

Allied Universal in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Security Officer for full-time patrol duties at a retail location. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor alarms, assist with access control, and deliver excellent customer service while deterring incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required in accordance with policy.
• Background check will be conducted as per law.
• Armed roles require 21+ years of age; unarmed roles require 18+.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by following security-related procedures and site policies, and assist with emergency response when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving locations, and surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to store contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and incident documentation per site procedures.
