Job summary

Allied Universal in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Validation to protect residents and property across a range of sites. You will manage visitor and badge access, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents with calm, professional communication while representing our brand with integrity.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, a background check, a CPO certification, and a minimum 2 years of security-related experience or related degree.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military and/or criminal justice degree.
• CPO certification required.
• DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies; assist in emergencies.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify authorization and issue credentials; maintain access records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and notify appropriate personnel per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential areas, entry points, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, management, and service personnel to maintain a welcoming environment.
