Job summary

NEURA Robotics seeks a Navigation Software Engineer to integrate, validate, and improve navigation on mobile robot platforms. You'll work with ROS 2, third‑party navigation, and fleet interfaces to ensure dependable navigation in real customer environments.

You will integrate navigation, develop adapters between systems, and support commissioning on real robots, including localization tuning and trajectory validation. Strong C++, Python, Docker, and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• 2+ years in robotics, software engineering, or related technical field is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of navigation and localization (SLAM) techniques and ROS 2.
• Experience with C++, Python, RESTful APIs, and Docker.
• Ability to debug and isolate issues in complex software architectures and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and debug third‑party navigation solutions into mobile robot platforms.
• Develop software adapters between navigation systems, hardware interfaces, and fleet interfaces.
• Support navigation commissioning on real robots, including map creation and localization tuning.
• Analyze navigation failures using logs and customer feedback; report findings and fixes.
• Define commissioning and acceptance criteria for navigation performance and safety.
