Job summary

Guidehealth is seeking a Retinal Camera Operator - Eye Exam Specialist in the Nashville area to perform scheduled diabetic eye exams using company-provided imaging equipment. Travel to practices and homes is required; travel time is paid and training is provided.

Must be able to travel daily, have a valid driver’s license, and hold an Associate degree or higher. Prior healthcare experience and strong Excel/Office skills are valued as you coordinate exams and communicate with teams.

Qualifications

Willingness and ability to travel daily, up to 100%, to provider practices for eye exams; training provided.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Associate degree or greater in a related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology, quality measures, medical billing, or coding.
Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and healthcare systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

Travel to provider practices and patient homes for scheduled eye exams.
Perform diabetic eye exams using company-provided retinal imaging equipment.
Manage daily eye exam appointment schedules and coordinate travel logistics.
Maintain competency through ongoing training and learning.
Build and maintain relationships with co-workers, customers, providers, payers, and care teams.
