Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Mobile Application Release/Deployment Engineer to support the development, release, and production deployment of iOS and Android apps from Charlotte, NC. You will coordinate between Mobile Development, QA, Product, Release Management, and Production Support to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires strong experience with JavaScript, Swift, CI/CD, app store publishing, and release governance, with hands-on Jenkins pipelines and cross-team coordination during critical

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Mobile App Development, Release Engineering, DevOps, or Deployment Management.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and understanding of Swift and native iOS/Android lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and related pipelines.
• Experience managing releases via Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• Understanding of Agile teams and Release Train deployments.
• Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and coordinate cross-team resolutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end mobile application delivery across iOS and Android.
• Manage release and deployment activities through all SDLC phases.
• Coordinate build validation, readiness reviews, and production releases.
• Handle deployment artifacts from Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Publish and maintain apps in App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• Collaborate with mobile dev, QA, product, and infra teams on releases.
• Lead release bridge calls; report status, risks, and issues.
• Monitor deployments and coordinate incident resolution.
• Ensure compliance with change management and deployment controls.
• Identify opportunities to automate release and deployment.
