Job summary

Firematic is seeking an experienced Mobile Refuse Truck Mechanic to perform field repairs, diagnostics, preventive maintenance and emergency service on garbage and refuse collection equipment. This role involves heavy-duty trucks, hydraulics, electrical systems and refuse-body equipment in the field.

You will diagnose and repair at customer locations, troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, and maintain a well-organized mobile service truck and inventory, documenting repairs and parts

Qualifications

• Heavy truck or refuse equipment repair experience required.
• Strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair garbage/refuse trucks at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose hydraulic leaks, pressure issues, valves and pumps.
