We are seeking a Service Technician - Mobile Refrigeration to perform mobile mechanical repair at customer locations, with on-the-job training in a development program to achieve Service Technician status.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of Carrier and Thermo King unit operations.
• Must be a self-starter and able to manage own time.
• Requires ability to effectively communicate with customers relative to mobile service.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative, contract and scheduled maintenance on customer equipment using a mobile service vehicle.
• Able to repair basic refrigeration, fuel systems, electrical systems, microprocessors, cooling systems and general maintenance.
• Promotes and sells mobile service to potential customers.
• Performs troubleshooting on unit problems.
• Attends training sessions and meetings.
• Maintains a neat and orderly working area and proper handling of company tools.
• Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Follows safe work practices and uses safety equipment; seeks assistance when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
