Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking Exam and Treatment Dentists to support Minnesota Army National Guard dental readiness across Minnesota. Examinations and treatments occur in mobile and portable settings at client sites, primarily on weekends with some weekdays, and on a part-time, "as needed" basis.

Responsibilities include treatment planning, digital radiograph review, readiness documentation, and HIPAA-compliant care, with strong endodontic and oral surgery skills valued.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota dental license with no restrictions.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• DEA registration preferred.
• Professional liability/malpractice insurance.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to work in mobile/portable field settings.
• Knowledge of universal precautions and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations and charting on military forms.
• Provide comprehensive dental treatment in non-traditional settings.
• Endodontic procedures, including molar RCTs.
• Oral surgery as needed (e.g., third molar extractions).
• Document findings and completed treatments in military records.
• Collaborate with event team and protect patient information.
• Comply with HIPAA and applicable laws.
