Job summary

Holland L.P. in Terre Haute, IN seeks an on-site Railcar Technician to perform prep work, inspections, and servicing of railcars, trucks, and RTVs. You will follow safety protocols, complete documentation, and support inventory and customer communications.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with welding certification preferred. Prepping training and strong organizational skills are valued; travel and 24/7 site support may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Welder to AWS D15.0 preferred.
• Prepping Training Certification preferred.
• Proven knowledge and experience in prepping.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and paperwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and adherence to fleet policy.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform railcar prepping according to established procedure.
• Safely operate service truck/trailer/RTV.
• Conduct pre-inspection and post-inspection of truck/trailer/RTV/tools/parts.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE, and Blue Flag Rules.
• Prepare reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain communication with customers and assist inventory.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
