Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years in railcar maintenance or related disciplines as listed.
• Ability to read engineered drawings.
• Previous experience with valves/mechanical systems preferred.
• Must have welding experience.
• Familiarity with AAR rules is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct railcar inspections to ensure compliance.
• Perform repairs following current procedures.
• Meet customer expectations for exceptional service.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, inspection and work orders.
• Possess capability to pass required NDT disciplines and certifications.
• Participate in safety assessments and equipment inspections.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights as required.
• Create hot work permits and monitor confined spaces.
• Under supervision, complete outlined tasks.
• Follow safety rules; participate in safety initiatives.
• Learn on-board training related to safety and quality.
