Zusammenfassung

GENRAIL Industrial Services seeks a mobile crew member to clean and restore tank cars to safe, “clean, dry, gas-free” condition. You will live on the road for 30–45 days at a time, operating a hydrovac and steam unit, performing confined-space work and documenting waste streams and job tickets.

Expect 10–12 hour shifts, 6–7 days a week, with per diem of 120 USD/day covering meals and lodging. Candidates must meet OSHA, DOT and FRA requirements and be willing to travel extensively.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years verifiable experience inside tank cars in mobile environments.
• OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 confined-space training and at least six months of field entries.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and maintain medical clearance.
• Familiarity with FRA blue-flag protection and rail-yard safety practices.

Aufgaben

• Perform confined-space entry and cleaning per OSHA standards; steam-clean, high-pressure wash and vacuum residues.
• Rail-yard safety: spot, secure, blue-flag, and ground railcars; coordinate moves per FRA rules.
• Collect and manifest rinsate, sludges and absorbents; label containers per DOT/PHMSA; complete digital tickets and safety checks.
