Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Field Technician to manage railcar cleaning and equipment maintenance. The role requires working inside railcars, wearing PPE, and following Tactical Cleaning safety protocols.

You will inspect interiors, perform cleaning, complete documentation, and coordinate with the Shop Manager. Travel 50–75% is expected; a high school diploma and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of freight car/tank car experience or related heavy equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean railcar interiors per customer, FRA, AAR and Tactical Cleaning requirements.
• Complete cleaning checklists.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety programs.
• Communicate with Shop Manager and management.
• Operate cleaning systems and gear as required.
• Prepare and distribute tank car cleaning documentation.
