Job summary

BioTech X-ray in Valparaiso, IN seeks a Radiologic Technician to perform x-rays and EKGs, ensuring timely image release to licensed physicians. You will maintain documentation, drive company vehicles, and handle portable equipment with safety and professionalism.

The role requires current ARRT certification, valid state licenses for multiple states, and ability to drive long distances (3000–6000 miles/month).

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required and current.
• Required radiology state licenses for all states served, current.
• Able to work independently, yet as part of a team.
• Flexibility in work hours to meet client needs.
• Excellent driving record; must be able to drive 3000–6000 miles per month.
• Drug and alcohol free.
• Experience in portable x-ray preferred.
• Physically able to load/unload x-ray equipment (100–185 lbs) and move equipment to patient bedside.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-rays and EKGs on patients as assigned, following procedures.
• Ensure images are released to licensed radiologist or cardiologist for interpretation.
• burn images to CD and deliver as assigned.
• Keep accurate documentation of services performed.
• Maintain company property, including vehicles, phones, equipment and supplies.
• Be professional in actions, communication, and appearance.
• Other duties as assigned
