Teamnetmed is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our Radiation Oncology team. You will deliver prescribed radiation therapy and ensure patient safety throughout the treatment process.

Responsibilities include operating linear accelerators, assisting in simulation and planning, and maintaining detailed treatment records while collaborating with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists and nursing staff.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program.
• Current certification or licensure in radiation therapy.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Familiarity with current radiation therapy techniques and technologies.

Aufgaben

• Provide a compassionate and comfortable environment for patients undergoing treatment.
• Accurately deliver the prescribed radiation dose to the correct location, as per the treatment plan.
• Operate radiation therapy equipment including linear accelerators, with regular calibration and safety checks.
• Assist in simulation and planning, ensuring accurate patient positioning using imaging guidance.
• Maintain accurate treatment records, document patient reactions, and report any issues to the Radiation Oncologist.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and participate in QA checks for equipment and processes.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, nurses and other staff.
