Job summary
Hyatt is seeking a Manager of QA to join the Global Digital and Technology organization in Chicago, leading the mobile apps testing for Hyatt Guests and colleagues. The role focuses on establishing QA standards, hands-on development collaboration, and building automation-first strategies to maximize IT investments.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in mobile testing, Agile practices, and CI/CD tooling like Jenkins, and will mentor a small team while partnering with product and design
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience developing and manually testing database-driven native mobile apps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Demonstrable skills in manual testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product/design/dev teams to communicate impacts and gather requirements.
- Develop and establish QA measures and testing standards for new development and enhancements.
- Guide team and manage workload.
- Attend architecture meetings to ensure standards and project needs are met.
- Track multiple test executions and synthesize results.
- Lead technical meetings to reach inter-group consensus.
