Job summary

Actalent is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to support a smart home security camera product line. This contract role is fully on-site in North Reading, MA, with 9 to 5, Monday–Friday, and offers comprehensive benefits.

You will execute manual E2E tests across web, mobile, and device apps and build automated tests with Appium in Java or Python, leveraging AI/GenAI tools for test generation and defect triage. 2+ years of QA experience required.

Qualifications

• Appium automation required using Java or Python.
• Hands-on use of AI/GenAI tools within QA workflows.
• Mobile end-to-end testing on Android and iOS.
• 2+ years of QA experience.
• Detail-oriented with ability to independently execute E2E test cycles.
• Proactive defect identification and tracking.
• Experience with both manual and automated QA testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual end-to-end test cases across web, mobile, and device applications.
• Build and maintain automated E2E tests using Appium with Java or Python.
• Use AI/GenAI tools for test case generation, automation development, and defect triage.
• Log and track defects and verify fixes.
• Support regression testing cycles.
• Partner with QA and development teams on release readiness.
