Job summary

Perform is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead mobile test automation for internal commerce apps using Appium on Android. You will design and maintain automated test suites, ensuring coverage across ordering, payments and accounts, while collaborating with developers to integrate tests into CI/CD.

As the role evolves, you will contribute to quality platform initiatives and shared tooling to scale testing across teams. Strong Android testing on real devices and emulators is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Appium experience for mobile test automation.
• Strong Android testing experience on real devices and emulators.
• Experience building test automation for commerce/transactional apps.
• Solid programming fundamentals in Java, Kotlin, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for Android using Appium.
• Write and execute test automation for internal commerce app flows (ordering, payments, account).
• Identify gaps in test coverage and catch defects before production.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Over time, contribute to shared quality/platform tools and testing infrastructure.
