Job summary

TruStep Podiatry in Phoenix, AZ seeks a skilled podiatrist to join a mobile practice serving SNFs and LTC centers. You will perform evaluations, treatment planning, and in-clinic procedures with emphasis on diabetic foot care, wound management, and elder care.

Qualifications

• DPM degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Arizona Podiatric License required.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Experience in geriatric podiatry or LTC/SNF preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive foot and ankle exams for SNF/LTC residents.
• Diagnose and manage podiatric conditions (diabetic foot care, skin, infections, nails).
• Perform minor in-clinic procedures (debridement, nail avulsions, wound care).
• Develop individualized treatment plans with facility teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records per regulatory standards.
• Provide preventive care education to residents, families, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and quality standards.
