Job summary

Guma-Warnii Pty is seeking experienced Mobile Plant Operators for a short-term project at West Angelas in the MEM Workshop precinct. Roll includes earthworks and civil tasks with a 2/1 roster and 11.5 paid hours per day. Commencement mid-October; duration around 2 months. Pay up to $67 per hour on a Rio Tinto site.

Applicants should have civil/mining earthworks experience, RIIMPO tickets, and the ability to operate multiple machines with a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Experience operating mobile plant in civil, mining or earthworks environments.
• RIIMPO machine tickets relevant to the role.
• Ability to confidently operate multiple types of plant.
• Strong understanding of earthworks, levels, trimming and windrow construction.
• Commitment to safe work practices and site procedures.
• Rio Tinto experience/inductions highly regarded.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Excavating and digging trenches.
• Clearing and pushing.
• Construction and remediation of windrows.
• Load and haul operations.
• Detailed earthworks and trimming.
• Grading and levelling.
• Backfilling and compacting.
• General MEM Workshop civil works.
• Remediation of existing tracks and windrows.
