Miles Sand & Gravel Company in Bremerton, WA, seeks a Mobile Maintenance Plant Mechanic to maintain batch plants and equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance. The role requires welding skills, fabricating components, and electrical/plumbing aptitude to support continuous production.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of industrial mechanical experience, a valid WA driver’s license, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Three to five years of mechanical experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant and equipment, troubleshoot and repair proactively.
• Order parts and manage inventory to keep repairs timely.
• Perform welding (stick and wire) and oxy-acetylene cutting as needed.
• Work with electrical systems (120–480V) and basic plumbing repairs.
• Operate plants and equipment safely, including PPE and fall protection.
