Job summary

HNL Lab Medicine is seeking a mobile phlebotomist to collect specimens, perform venipunctures and support home phlebotomy services across Lehigh Valley. The role requires handling scheduling requests, coordinating with facilities, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential; a GED or high school diploma is required, with 6 months to 2 years related experience preferred. Bilingual abilities may be needed based on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 6 months to 2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees; bilingual may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipunctures and collects specimens.
• Schedules mobile phlebotomy home visits, house calls and LTC facilities.
• Answers incoming calls for scheduling of home phlebotomy and related services.
• Maintains registration, scheduling, dispatch and tracking software.
• Provides excellent customer service and communicates with patients and families.
• Assists in orientation/training of new staff.
• May provide on-call and mobile service as required.
