Job summary

MediPro Direct provides mobile life insurance exam services and is seeking experienced phlebotomists. This independent contractor role involves traveling to applicants' homes, workplaces, or other approved locations to perform phlebotomy and related testing.

Examiners will handle detailed medical histories, vital signs, blood draws, specimen handling, and documentation. Flexible per diem assignments with potential EKG work are available in various service areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy/venipuncture experience.
• Strong, reliable blood-draw skills.
• Proficiency in medical terminology.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile setting.
• Accurate medical documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Strong time-management and organization.
• Access to computer and smartphone to manage assignments.
• Willingness to travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed medical history interviews.
• Obtain blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and other measurements.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood and urine specimens.
• Centrifuge blood specimens prior to shipment.
• Complete LTC assessments when required.
• Complete all required insurance exam forms accurately.
• Prepare and package specimens for shipment to the lab.
• Perform EKGs when ordered, if equipped.
• Review assigned orders and case-specific requirements.
• Submit required documentation upon completion of assignments.
