Job summary

MediPro Direct is seeking experienced mobile paramedical examiners to perform life insurance medical exams at applicants' homes or other agreed locations. This independent contractor, per diem opportunity offers flexible assignment volumes based on client needs within your coverage area.

Examiners conduct medical histories, take vital signs, perform venipuncture, collect specimens, and complete forms accurately. EKGs are optional where equipped.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent phlebotomy/venipuncture experience.
• Strong and reliable blood-draw skills.
• Proficiency in medical terminology.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile setting.
• Access to a computer and smartphone to manage assignments.

Responsibilities

• Travel to applicants' homes, workplaces, or other agreed locations to conduct life insurance medical exams.
• Conduct detailed medical history interviews.
• Obtain blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and other required measurements.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood and urine specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens prior to shipment and prepare for laboratory transport.
• Complete LTC assessments when required and fill out forms accurately.
• Prepare and package specimens for shipment to the lab.
• Perform EKGs when ordered, if equipped.
• Review orders and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Submit required documentation upon completion of assignments.
